Brazil’s iron ore exports to raise by 10% in 2014

The Australian Bureau of Resources and Energy Economics (BREE) forecasted that Brazil’s iron ore exports would surge by 10% year on year to 362 million tons in 2014, driven by higher production. 

It’s forecasted that iron ore exports will raise by 6% yearly on average and it is expected to hit 489 million tons in 2019.

Meanwhile, Vale is expanding its giant Serra Sul S11D project, which has annual capacity of 90 million tons.
