According to Asean Iron and Steel Council
(AISC), the regional steel and iron consumption will grow by 7~8% in this year.
According to AISC, ASEAN market consumed 67.1 million tons of steel last year,
up by 6.3% from the last year.
China’s steel exports to the region reached 23.95 million tons, soaring by
50.3% year on year. Among them, China’s steel exports to Vietnam reached 6.58
million tons.
