Turkey's steel exports fall by 30% in May

According to Turkish Steel Exporters’ Union (CIB), Turkey’s steel exports decreased by 20% to 6.9 million tons in the first five months.
During the period, the country’s revenue generated from steel exports declined by 23.7% to US$4.5 billion.
In May alone, the country’s steel exports totaled 1.1 million tons, down by 30% compared to the same month a year ago. Meanwhile, the revenue generated from steel exports declined by 37% to US$801 million year on year.
