Caspian Stal to build new mill in Aktau

It is reported that Caspian Stal in the Republic of Kazakhstan has begun to build a new mill in Aktau, which will have an annual capacity for 300,000 tonnes covering billets and rebar.

The new mill is invested by Bank TuranAlem with the amount up to USD 47.5 million.

In the first production year, Caspian Stal plans to reach the 72% of the full capacity and increase the output of billet and rebar by 168,000 tonnes and 48,000 tonnes respectively. It is estimated that Caspian Stal will recruit workers and staffs for more than 500.

In addition, the new mill is the only one of its kind in Aktau, designed to use different raw material to curb the emission and protect the environment.
